Everything worked well and APN told me that 420 app are restored.
But the problem is i can't find this app. neither on the screen nor on the menues.
Can somebody tell me where i can found the restored app?

Can you try a new backup with the app and confirm that the files are going in the same folder?

first of all thanks for your app :) over here in germany my provider o2 had the cunning idea of letting you connect to its access points regardless of the settings you use. so i can freely change the name, port or proxy settings for my apn, my n1 is always able to go online.

the only option i have if i want to stop ota-connections is to remove the apn completely, which is where your app comes into the game :)

i'm not quite sure where the apn settings are coming from, but i can only see one apn in my settings while your app still backs up 426, which takes some time, especially the restoring.

therefore i'd greatly appreciate it if you could add an option to only save and restore the active apn(s) visible in the settings, not the list containing every provider setting throughout europe :)

and if you're still in the mood for coding, i'd like to be able to 'activate' i.e. restore the last backup or 'deactivate' i.e. save and then remove the active apn through a simple on/off-widget. do you think you could add this?

Hey I also flashed an Eris (after updating ROM to Android 2.1 rooted)to MetroPCS, I have 2 problems. I can receive MMS, but not send (I get an error). Also if my SMSs are too long (over 4 lines) I also get a general network error and the error keeps flashing every 2 minutes until I power down the phone.

My biggest problem is the internet. I can get mobile internet on the default browser and using the gmail and calendar functions. However I cannot get android market, or use any other app that accesses the web like Trapster. I can only access use these web dependent apps through wi-fi. Any ideas about how to solve this? Oh man I would be so happy if I could get this going!

Try deleting all the APNs using the app and restoring them again. Although you cannot see any APNs there are probably some there as the phone only shows the APNs configured for your current network. Have you changed your network provider since the ROM change?
