This normally happens when the outgoing messages have different numbers compared to the incoming messages (missing country code etc). Make sure you have the contacts created properly on the phone’s address book and then try the restore.

Not able to restore text messages after hard reset.

Hi. I just restored my SMSs and i noticed that some of the threads were split in 2: some containing mostly my replies and some the messages received from those senders (sometimes the thread with received sms would contain one of my replies at the end of thread). I tried restarting the device and deleting all threads and restore again. Same thing. Help please. Galaxy Nexus, Icecream sanwhich. Thank you. B

My entire file of SMS messages can not be located. Is the file on-the- phone back up in some sort of outside database?
